The Friends of Grange Park Play Area are delighted to be bringing the village of Old Coulsdon its first ever community Christmas tree.

Crossways Nursery have generously donated a 20 feet spruce to the Friends' fundraising campaign, which has already attracted generous donations towards the playground renovation fund from Beadles Kia and Churches Together in Coulsdon who will together 'host' the tree this year.

The tree will be situated in the heart of the village on the grass verge outside the Old Coulsdon Congregational Church with the kind agreement of Reverend Malcolm Newman and will erected by the Friends and Crossways Nursery on Tuesday 2 December.

The Friends would like to ask the community to donate generously to the playground renovation fund if they appreciate the community Christmas tree.  We are hoping to raise at least £1000 in community donations towards the fund.  So far the Friends have raised £15,500 out of a target of £25,000 before applying to grant funders for the remainder needed to renovate the play area.

Please see our EVENTS page for details of the tree decorating times.
